It’s finally November, which means sweater weather is right around the corner or already here for you. While you’re bringing out your favorite knits and sipping on seasonal lattes, it’s also time to start thinking about how your skincare routine will change as temperatures fall. You may not think to change up the regimen you’ve religiously been following, but seasons can actually determine what your skin needs to keep its glow.
Going from Texas to New Hampshire (where there are real changes in weather) has made me think differently about caring for my skin. Even though it’s naturally quite oily, my skin still takes a hit as I get into the fall and winter months. I was using way too many oil control and matte products, which actually dehydrated my skin when combined with the dry and cool weather.
